Opportunities to Serve
Missions:
We provide adults and youth with
opportunities to become personally involved in missions, both
locally and abroad. Supporting 9,000 missionaries who take
the message and ministry of Jesus to lost people across the state,
throughout the nation and around the world. Our primary
local Mission is "S.W.A.T." (Servants With a Task) ministering to
those in Marshall County who need help.
Music
Ministry:
At First Baptist, music
is a very important part of our church. We offer many music
opportunities such as Children's Choir, Praise Band, Praise Team
and Worship Choir. We also do an exciting new Easter and
Christmas Cantata each year. We believe that through music
we are able to serve and magnify our Heavenly Father. Psalms
150:6 " Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord"
Bible
Study:
Our age-graded Bible
Study is designed and organized to reach, teach , and mistier to
every member of the family. The main priority if our Sunday
morning classes is to study the Bible and learn how to apply these
truths to everyday living. It is in these classes that the
fellowship with one's peers strengthens our bond with the Lord and
with each other. We have classes for Men and Women
separately or if you prefer we have couples classes. Our
Sunday morning Bible study begins at 10:30 am.
Prayer
Ministry:
At First Baptist we do
not attempt anything without prayer. There are many miracles
walking among us as a result of prayer. We have 2 Annual Prayer
Walks trying to cover our entire community. We have
developed and continue to develop several cell prayer groups. Our
Sunday Evening Service is a prayer and praise service.
Spanish Ministry:
We have a Church who is
active in the Spanish speaking community with a full time Spanish

to Minster to out little ones. Jesus loves the children and
so do we.

FBC
Youth:
The Youth Ministry is a
vibrant and important part of FBC. The purpose is to provide
students with a resource and events that are designed to meet the
individual needs of students. We understand that students
from the 6th - 12th grades have different needs. We have
found that the best way to meet the needs of these students is to
have the youth divided into two separate youth groups; Sr.
High/Jr. High.
Sr.
High Youth:
This youth group is
designed to meet the needs of students attending 9th - 12th grade.
Some ministry events in the Senior High youth group are Music,
Drama, Mission Trips, Student led Bible studies, Leadership
classes, Falls Creek and other Big Events.
Jr.
High Youth:
This youth group
is designed to meet the needs of a student attending the 6th- 8th
grade. Some of the ministries are: Food Ministry, Mission
Trips, Adult lead Bible studies, Discipleship Classes, Falls Creek
Summer Camp and other Big Events.

message on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm and Sundays at 10:30 am.
Designed as an opportunity to minister to young adults, through
fellowship, small group meetings in homes, sports activities,
meals in motion and other recreational events. All of these
activities are done to encourage one another as we grow in out
relationship with Jesus Christ.
Recreation:
Recreation is a new and
developing ministry at FBC. We have a fully equipped Family

We have a full time
Senior Adult Minister who oversees the activities of our Senior

special interest for our Seniors to allow and foster fellowship
and personal growth. One day trips, extended trips, concerts
and opportunities for service are among the services offered.
SALT was developed because we are aware of the great gifts and
talents that lay in this generation.
